One of our most popular items is the concrete tub candle. We get asked all the time how we make these and we love sharing the process with our customers!

We start by mixing concrete, adding special dye and then pouring it into a silicone mold. It hardens for several hours and then it’s unmolded and sit out to cure for a few days. After that, the vessels get sanded and sealed with several coats of eco-friendly, fire-retardant sealant. After another period of curing, it’s time to pour a candle inside! We always use soy wax, cotton wicks and phthalate-free fragrance oil so you can be happy knowing your candle is a healthier option to breathe in. We also top our concrete vessels with decorations that set up apart from your average candle. In fact, this is no average candle! It’s beautiful and functional. These tubs, although 3-wicked, will burn for approximately 55-60 hours!

Even though a lot of people tell us they won’t be burning the candle because it’s too beautiful, we always give suggestions on how to repurpose your vessel once the candle is finished.

A sneak peak at our set up for tomorrow’s event: Hudson Valley Garlic Festival! 🧄 I’m so excited I can hardly contain myself! It took us 4 hours to load the cars and set up! 😅 When I got home, my husband said that this is MY Super Bowl and I couldn’t agree more! 💪After prepping for months, hurting my shoulder over the summer (and thinking it was going to hinder production) and then getting sick this week (timing of critical importance!) we are READY to open up shop this weekend in my hometown at the biggest event of the year. A sneak peak at our set up for tomorrow’s event: Hudson Valley Garlic Festival! 🧄 I’m so excited I can hardly contain myself! It took us 4 hours to load the cars and set up! 😅 When I got home, my husband said that this is MY Super Bowl and I couldn’t agree more! 💪After prepping for months, hurting my shoulder over the summer (and thinking it was going to hinder production) and then getting sick this week (timing of critical importance!) we are READY to open up shop this weekend in my hometown at the biggest event of the year. We are showcasing so many new scents and products!! It’s game time! 👊🕯️
