Is it really spring? One day if feels like a nice warm. spring day and the next we are dipping into the 30's at night. I made the mistake of planting my basil too early and the poor seedlings died in the fluctuating temperatures. I thought I was getting a head start this year, but alas, Mother Nature had a different plan in store.
Anyway, I have more basil to plant once I know for sure we are past the extreme cold at night. And speaking of gardening, come check out our spring scents that we're sure you'll love. Grab something fruity or floral or maybe something fresh and clean.
So far this Spring we are scheduled for two great events. The first one is this weekend in Catskill. It's the Rip Van Winkle Wine & Brew Festival held at the historic Catskill Point.
Come join us for an afternoon on the banks of the beautiful Hudson River in Catskill, NY at the Historic Catskill Point. Enjoy unlimited tastings of wine, craft beer and beverages, as well as local food and craft vendors, and be entertained by live local music. All proceeds benefit the community and it’s parks and recreation in Greene County, NY. Remember, this event is rain or shine. Tickets available online or at the door.

The second event we will be attending is the Woodstock-New Paltz Arts & Crafts Fair at the Ulster County Fairgrounds on Memorial Day Weekend. This juried show has evolved into a highly successful event, voted one of the top art and craft shows in America by Sunshine Artist Magazine. Over the years, the fair has attracted the finest artists and craftspeople from across the country. Tens of thousands of visitors come to this event every Memorial and Labor Day weeknds. If you haven't been to this event, consider it a must-see!

We hope to see you at one of these events!
